From Inspiration to Creation     

I am an Art Teacher who has enjoyed horror movies since I was a child. I can remember my mother watching them with me. I would curl up next to her, and if either of us got scared, we always had each other to lean on.

     I wanted to be a doctor, but I used to pass out at the sight of blood. I studied Anatomy down to the cellular level and loved it, but REAL BLOOD?! I was fine, as long as it was on the movie screen.

       That was the determining factor that led me to decide to further my love of Horror through Art.   I know - what a huge Paradigm Shift, right? Good thing my brain is bilaterally symmetrical - even with the Tumor, huh?

     I also enjoy all genres of Music. I play guitar and saxophone. I had a little Magnus organ I played as a child, and tried to play keyboards as a teen. I even tried to start up a band! It was just me and some of the guys from the neighborhood. They would never show up for practice, which is probably why our band never took off.      

     I don't even think we ever came up with a name!
